I’m poor and know what it’s like to have to eat that meat with all fat on it, just because you can’t afford the lean good meat. I have seen those nice looking lean meats and look at the price sometimes as high as $3.00 or more a lb. Then you have the family packs of meat for $1.20lb and it’s mostly all fat. You also have what we call the mystery meat in a tube. You never know what your going to get with them. But they are always cheapest..

It’s not all meat, veggy’s can be expensive too. I don’t like can veggies but can’t afford fresh so stuck with the can.

When have low income you have to buy cheapest that will last the longest. Very rarely do you see the healthy food the cheapest.

This doesn’t mean people are lazy, i never once in my live had money, even growing up we was one of the poorest in our school. But yet we had dairy farm, and my parents worked full time jobs.All of the family got in and worked. Just to try to put food on the table and pay bills. I don’t see this as being lazy. I have done jobs that not many others would do just to keep going.

Until you have walked in same shoes as someone you have no right to critise them.

I’m fat because I’m lazy AND I seriously enjoy eating massive quantities of junk food. (Especially the cheap items on the dollar menu) Somebody stop me.
