Yes the Jogging and Blogging Connection is a silly title and a “no duhh” type of concept to some people. But the Jangro post linked to above is more than about increased productivity. It highlights something I deal with personally, and something that I’m sure many of you deal with as well: Sitting in front of a computer all day as a job is terrible for your health.
Sometimes I long for a job doing construction or landscaping just so I can by more active during the day. Other times I’m glad that I can sit in air-conditioned comfort and make really good money doing something I love, and that it is mentally stimulating. In the end, the best solution is to hit the gym during the afternoon, which allows me to take a break from the computer screen and get to the bench press without waiting in line.
