Cybex Recalls Almost Five Thousand Treadmills

Recalled Cybex TreadmillAccording to a recent press release by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Cybex International has recalled 4,700 of their Cybex 400T, Cybex 410T, Trotter 535, Trotter 510, Trotter 525, and CXT+ treadmill models.

According to the CPSC, these recalled Cybex treadmills can catch fire, and owners should unplug them and call Cybex as soon as possible: (888) 678-3846.

I guess you can really feel the “burn” on these! ha :) bad joke hehe. On a serious note that really sucks cause it’s a pain in the butt to have to send it back then wait for a new one..plus the company is going to take a huge loss.

I wonder how much it costs to ship each unit to the repair facility? These things are pretty heavy. Multiply that by 5,000 = big oops for some product engineer somewhere.

i have a trotter 510,never as probleme with the machine, i call cybex a service compagny came to fix my probleme for no cost to me,the car dialer charge me for a recall…..
