We spend a lot of time on our health because we know that it leads to a longer, more productive, happier life. I was thinking about how long I can be expected to live (based on average life spans for my age group and lifestyle) and it struck me as sad that, if I were a dog, my life would have ended before I even lost my virginity. Man’s Best Friend only lives between 12-14 years on average, and yet we tend to give them a bowl of highly-processed food made primarily from butcher-house scraps mixed with yeast, and expect them to remain happy and healthy. The dog food recalls from earlier this year prove that these mass-produced, mega-pet-store-sold bags of horse hooves all come from the same place - China.
I’m not saying you should treat your pet like a human, serve them steak and let them sit at the table with you. But if my dog is only going to live 14 years (most likely less since I have an English Bulldog) I want that short time to be filled with fun, excitement, good food and good health. And if I can extend his lifespan by even one or two years, that would equivalent to extending mind for an entire decade!
To make a long story short, I was thinking about all of this the other day and decided to do some GoogleReSearch. I ended up finding a site that sold dog food health supplements and wanted to share it with you: www.k9muscle.com . It’s like bodybuilding.com for dogs.
