What if First Page Fitness turned into an affiliate website? Our pages might look something like this page about the LoveHandler machine, but with a little more content. Perhaps we would try to pre-sale the user, or perhaps we would do comparisons with other exercise machines.

I guess the question I want to ask myself is: Could we rank on the first page of any major search engines for the terms Love Handler or Lovehandler? If so, would it generate any revenue?  Would this blog be better suited for reviewing health and fitness products and services, or are there any readers out there who find the “niche approach” to SEO useful? Should I move my SEO services over to a less restrictive domain, or would I then just become lost in the sea of SEO companies? Would it seem like we were pulling the old “bait-n-switch” routine to all of the people who have linked to this SEO/SEM blog? Would it be a potential conflict of interest with any of our current clients?

24 hours after posting this blog entry and putting up the test page, we rank on the first page of Google for the terms Lovehandler and Love Handler. It seems First Page Fitness would do pretty well as an affiiate website, at least for fitness products that aren’t hyper-competitive.
