SEO Fangirl Dinner in Chicago

I was lucky enough to attend a pizza party with some of the brightest (although the host would say “sexiest”) minds in SEO this week in Chicago. I was honored to be sitting next to the likes of Todd Malicoat (AKA Stuntdubl), Jeremy Shoemaker (AKA Shoemoney), Rand Fishken (AKA Randfish / SEOmoz), the guys over at Text Link Brokers, Shawn Hogan of Digital Point, and many other highly skilled, extremely intelligent search marketing professionals.

It was a truly humbling and exciting experience, and I went away with even more energy and drive to do the best for all of our clients here at First Page Fitness.

Below are a couple of pictures from the event.

This first one is me acting like a Forbes journalist and putting words into Jeremy’s mouth:
Hawaii SEO Says Shoemoney!

Here’s me with… I think there must be a big stray hair on my neck or something:
Hmmm...

You can’t see it yet, but Rand’s cheeks get candy apple red when he’s been drinking for awhile. Can you guess which one of these guys sells vibrators online? I can’t either.

Pizza and Beer.
Be sure to stop over and play “guess who” when SEO Fangirl posts the “cheezy ass photos” this weekend.

Hay… Shoemoney never said that!

Wow! That’s amazing! I’ve never seen such a high concentration of search marketing talent in one place.

You just attended the SEO party of the year. Did I mention how jealous I am?

Aloha,
Dave.
