Quadzilla on Ten Steps to Guarantee You Make the Digg Front Page

This guy should have been a journalist. I invite Quadzilla to submit stories to Mental Floss because his writing is funny-but-true on so many levels. Take, for instance, the fact that he manages to abide by all of his suggestions in this article about how to make the front page of digg.

Take step 9, for instance:
“Insult as many groups as you can. Flamewars are popular for a reason. Throw out bombs that dare people to comment on your story. If you haven’t pissed off half your readers by the end of your article, it’s probably because you don’t have the balls or you’re too stupid to figure out how.”

While I do not advise anyone to go on Digg and insult the reader base (unless you can get away with it, like Quadzilla does) but I just wanted to point out that, while advising you to insult everyone, he implies that A: you have no testicles or B: you are dumb.

The irony is bitter-sweet and the writing is great, which is why this article deserve all the diggs it gets.
